Bhagwan Vishwakarma built many important buildings, temples, and sites according to Hindu scriptures, which are known as the abode of the gods. Some of the major places are as follows: 

 1. Swargaloka

This is the abode of Indra, which was built by Lord Vishwakarma in a very beautiful and divine way. Swargaloka is considered to be the main abode of the gods, and Indra’s palace is especially famous in it. 

 2. Lanka

According to Ramayana, Lord Vishwakarma built Lanka of gold for Ravana, the king of demons. Lanka was built of gold and its architecture was unique. This place was known for its beauty and grandeur. 

 3. Dwarka

Lord Krishna’s Dwarka city was also built by Lord Vishwakarma. When Shri Krishna decided to move from Mathura to Dwarka, Vishwakarma built a grand and beautiful city on the seashore, known as Dwarka. This city was situated in the middle of the sea and its beauty was unique.

 4. Indraprastha

According to Mahabharata, Lord Vishwakarma built a unique and grand city named Indraprastha for the Pandavas. This city was so beautiful and grand that it was called the heaven on earth.

 5. Pushpak Vimana

 Lord Vishwakarma built the Pushpak Vimana, a flying machine. It was kidnapped by Ravana, and later Shri Ram used it to return to Ayodhya.

 On Vishwakarma Jayanti, machines, tools, and machines are mainly worshipped. Especially engineers, artisans, craftsmen, and people working in industries clean their working tools and invoke Lord Vishwakarma and pray to him for success and prosperity in work.
